Frequently Asked Questions

If you don't see your question here, email us directly — we're happy to help.

Is Tech Logic a real qualification?

No. Tech Logic is a practice and skill-building simulation for diagnostic thinking. It doesn't itself constitute a certified or accredited qualification. For recognised industry qualifications, look to bodies like City & Guilds, EAL, or the IMI. See our UK Alignment page for how our content maps to official apprenticeship standards.

What devices does it work on?

Tech Logic runs entirely in your browser — no download, no app store, no account to create. It works on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile browsers. Progress saves locally on the device you're using.

How much does it cost?

One trade (Automotive, Electrical or Plumbing) is £4, one-time. All three trades together are £9.99. Both are one-off payments — no subscription, no recurring charge.

Is there a free version?

Yes — each trade has a free 2-job demo, right in your browser, no payment or signup needed. Try Automotive, Electrical, or Plumbing.

How do I get my access code after paying?

After a successful payment, we email your personal access code — usually within a few hours. If you haven't received it after 24 hours, check your spam folder first, then email us at info@techlogictraining.com and we'll sort it out.

Is payment secure?

Yes — all payments are processed securely through Stripe, a payment provider used by millions of businesses worldwide. We never see or store your card details.

What's your refund policy?

Since the free demo lets you try the actual gameplay before paying, we don't offer refunds once an access code has been issued and used. If you have a genuine problem with your purchase, email us and we'll look at it on a case-by-case basis.

Can I use one code on multiple devices?

Yes — your access code isn't tied to a single device. Log in with the same code wherever you want to play, and your progress on that specific device saves locally there.

Do you offer licences for colleges or training providers?

Yes — we work with colleges, employers and training organisations on multi-learner licences. Get in touch to discuss your needs.

How many scenarios are in each trade?

Each trade has 600 jobs spread across six career tiers, from Apprentice up to Elite Diagnostic Specialist, plus an in-game Academy where you unlock real diagnostic tools by passing exams.
